EA has confirmed, during the annual earnings calls with investors, that the next installment of the Battlefield series will be available this October. We still don't know a lot about DICE's upcoming game but there are at least two versions of the game's setting. One rumor says that DICE is working on Battlefield: Bad Company 3, but the other indicates that the studio will return to the World War II.

According to DICE senior video and media director Randy Evans, the trailer is ready to be published. When a fan of the series asked on Twitter where the trailer was and when we would see it, Evans replied, “it’s right in front of me”. He is no stranger to DICE's trailers as he's worked on trailers for the Mirror’s Edge reboot, Battlefield, and Battlefront games. So, when will the trailer hit the web?

The first trailer for Battlefield 1 was released a full month before the publisher's annual EA Play conference. It means that there's a chance we will watch the official teaser next month, in May. The annual EA's three day event will be held from June 9-11 at the Hollywood Palladium, and live to the world on EA.com.
