Electronic Arts has finally revealed new details on DICE's take on the battle royale genre in
Battlefield V.
First of all, the new mode, titled
Firestorm, will be coming to the shooter on March 25th, over four months after
BFV's initial launch. Considering that
Firestorm will offer players a chance to play on the biggest map in
Battlefield's history, you may want to give this long-overdue game mode a fair chance.
Just like in every
PUBG clone every made, your main objective is survival. To do just that, the player will have to face 63 other gamers in 16 squads. While hiding inside the tank may sounds like a fantastic plan, you may want to rethink your strategy quickly, as an orange ring of fire that slowly, but inevitably shrinks could be more deadly than those trying to secure the battlefield's most fearsome hardware.
Give than EA’s own
Apex Legends has already managed to break the 50 million registered players mark, there’s hope that the publisher has given the developers enough time to reimagine
Battlefield V.
