Fans of the franchise are more than aware that the large universe of Borderlands contains numerous beings. This includes multiple Sirens -- not simply the Vault Hunters that are shown or are playable characters.
One of the Non Playable Character Sirens is Nyriad, the long-dead Siren who translates Eridian Glyphs for the Vault Hunters. Nyriad's story is fleshed out throughout the glyphs located by the players -- including how she destroyed billions of lives to power the Pyre that sealed away the Destroyer for the good of the world -- something which haunts her.
The character of Nyriad is voiced by Morgan Berry who also voices multiple other small roles in Borderlands 3 as well. We recently had the opportunity to sit down and talk with her about some of her other projects which include Pokemon: Twilight Wings, My Hero Academia, and Dragon Ball Super, and we also chatted a bit about Borderlands 3 while we had the chance. Joe: You lend your voice to the popular Borderlands 3, Did you play any games in the series beforehand or did you have to familiarize yourself with the lore?
Morgan Berry: I don’t play all of the games that I voice in but I loved my experience voicing characters in Borderlands 3! I know there are a lot of fans of the series.
Joe: If given the chance, would you return to Borderlands in a potential future game or spin-off?
Morgan Berry: Of course! I would love to voice in the series again.
Joe: Would you prefer to play the same character again or someone different like a Vault Hunter?
Morgan Berry: Honestly I would be excited to play anyone! I love opportunities and I loved working on Borderlands 3.
Joe: Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers about what is to come for you in the future?
Morgan Berry: It was recently announced that I’ll be joining Food Wars as Rindo Kobayashi. That will be very exciting so my fans can look forward to that!
