CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 4 Rumored Player Count Is Lower Than Other Battle Royale Games

This year's Call of Duty, Black Ops IV won't feature a "traditional" single-player campaign and instead will focus solely on the multiplayer. The upcoming shooter’s battle royale mode is titled Blackout and will offer the biggest map in Call of Duty history, which is apparently 1500 times bigger than Nuketown, featuring weapons, equipment, land, sea, and air vehicles in an experience that is unique to COD.

Sadly, it looks like the sheer map size is the only battle royale record Black Ops IV will break, as the Blackout mode may only support 60 players. A screenshot that has been making the rounds online seems to suggest that Call of Duty Black Ops IV's player cap will be lower than other PUBG-like games currently on the market, as the mainstay battle royale titles currently support 100 players games.

The mode will feature fan-favorite characters from across the series, including the original Call of Duty Zombies Origins and the season pass will offer four exclusive characters. You'll have the ability to battle either solo or in teams, seemingly creating parties at a max of 12 players. Activision has yet to confirm or deny the rumored player count for the Call of Duty Black Ops IV battle royale mode. Take a look:
