Apparently Activision and Infinity Ward feel that Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer is so big that it requires two gameplay trailers to show it off. The first trailer, "Tango Down" shows the game from first person perspective in multiplaery. It's HUD up gameplay, showing you what it looks like to dominate, assuming you're AT LEAST as good as the gamer that recorded the gameplay footage.
The second "World Premiere" gameplay trailer slows things down a bit and gives you a look from various angles.
Keep an eye out for some of the new perks, weapons and gear... They might surprise you!
With
Modern Warfare 3 not seeing an engine upgrade, the question remains - Can the older engine hold up against the stiffer competition (ie.
Battlefield 3)? The Call of Duty games have been running on the same Infinity Ward engine that was used in 2005's Call of Duty 2. Although Industry Analyst Michael Pachter of Wedbush Morgan went on record to say that
Battlefield 3 doesn't stand a chance against Modern Warfare 3 back in March (2011), the feedback from gamers is mixed. Some feel that a re-skinned Modern Warfare 2 title may not be enough to justify the $60 price tag that goes with a new game.
We'll find out November 8 when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 hits retailers for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and recently announced Nintendo Wii.
