The mid-season update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 went live this week, introducing a new multiplayer map, two new game modes, the next Zombies story mission, and more.
One of the main highlights of Season 2 Reloaded is the return of the 6v6 multiplayer map, Daus Haus. The Call of Duty: Vanguard map has been remastered for Modern Warfare 3 and offers players nonstop action in tight confines.
The reimagined map now sits atop a skyscraper in the vicinity of Highrise, which can now be spotted in the distance from one of the spawn points. Despite getting remastered, the chaos of the map's layout remains, rewarding aggressive Operators who stay on the offensive.
There are also two new game modes: Bounty and Juggermosh. Bounty is a Team Deathmatch-style game mode where players have unlimited lives and the first team to reach the elimination-based score limit wins. The twist with this mode is that the biggest slayer on each team is designated as a high-value target," which means they'll be highlighted for all to see and awarded extra points when eliminated.
In Juggermosh, players will slug it out as Juggernauts in Space Marines skins inspired by the Warhammer 40,000 universe. This mode offers a third-person perspective for the entire match and occurs across Kill Confirmed and Domination modes.
For those who prefer to work together, a new story mission has arrived in Zombies.
Continue your journey alongside Sergei Ravenov as you’re pulled back into the Dark Aether while investigating a new anomaly, presenting terrifying and exciting challenges you haven’t encountered before.
Players will encounter an all-new Dark Aether Rift, earning new and powerful rewards, and battle Warlord Keres in the Exclusion Zone. Keres is a chemical warfare specialist who will use any means necessary to eliminate opposing Operators.
Call of Duty: Warzone is also receiving updates. The new Research Vessel has been added to Fortune's Keep. It's a mobile POI that circles the island's shoreline. There's also a new Bunker Buster Killstreak, an aerial attack that drops missiles and sends an explosive blast through multiple floors, leaving a column of gas in its wake. The new Portal Decontamination Station is a Field Upgrade that creates a safe zone in the gas, protecting any Operators within its area of effect.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 Reloaded is now live in the game. All of its content is available as part of a free update.
