As previously reported, Bungie will be unleashing the Heroic Mode of the Destiny: Rise of Iron raid next week. However, it will be made available a few hours later than previously reported to allow players adequate time to download Update 2.4.1, which among other things, raises the light cap from 385 to 400.
Heroic Mode was originally set to be released this Tuesday at 10 AM PST but Bungie announced that Update 2.4.1 will now be released at that time, leaving Heroic Mode to be made available at a later time during that same day. This delay was made to level the playing field for all the hopeful Fireteams looking to be the "world first" to clear Heroic Mode. With global server speeds varying, Bungie wants to make sure there's plenty of time for everyone to download the Update before attempting to workout whatever extraneous mechanics are contained in Heroic Mode. For the full content contained in Update 2.4.1, read below.
