Sure, next-gen graphics are great. But there's something to be said for the nostalgic feeling old-school gamers get while playing retro 2D platofrm games such as Megan Man and Metroid.

One hardcore Destiny fan decided to celebrate Bungie's birthday by creating an old-school, retro 2D version of Destiny. Named Project Tiger, you can download the platform shooter at https://helix333.itch.io/project-tiger and play on either Windows or MAC.  

Also part of Bunige's birthday is the current Moments of Triumph currently underway in Destiny. While the video above, featuring a Titan shooting his way through a 2D Cosmodrome, gives you an idea of what to expect, rest assured there'll be some surprises along the way.  While it's only a single level, perhaps Brenton “Helix3333” Whitwell can be encouraged to release new material for each new DLC launch?  We're only a little over a month away from the next big launch, Rise of Iron.  Read up on details for that expansion by clicking here.
