Finally as useful "patch," if you could call it that is coming to Destiny. 1.1.1 has been talked about for the past couple of weeks. Destiny re-affirmed that we should see 1.1.1 later in February saying, "Word on the street is that things are looking good."
Another feature that we will be see is a reputation tracker from the inventory screen. Ever been annoyed having to run around to each vendor to see where your reputation is? It can be a cumbersome process, but in the next patch you will be able to see where you stand with all the Destiny factions from your inventory. It will be just to the side of where you see your vanguard points and crucible points.
Alright Xur, what kind of crap shoot are you trying to sell this week? Oh, you decided to sell the IceBreaker again this week! Did I ever tell you how much I love you? You knew that all along, right? So after weeks of everyone bragging about the Icebreakers they either bought last time Xur sold them or from miraculous cryptarch engram I could finally buy one. With strange coins burning a hole in my pocket I bought one . . . or two ... okay, so I bought three for all my characters. Was that a little much? Maybe, but they're so good when you need to just sit back and pound the enemy. With that said here is everything that Xur is selling this week.
Icebreaker (exotic sniper rifle) - 17 strange coins
Solar
Attack: 302/331
No Backpack (Icebreaker regenerates ammo, but you can't hold extra for it)
Mulligan (Missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to the magazine)
Ice Breaker (Enemies spontaneously combust, dealing damage to others around them)
Helm of Inmost Light (Titan helmet) - 13 strange coins
Defense: 407/447
Light: 30/36
Rain Blows (Increased melee speed)
Invigoration (Reduces melee cooldown when you pick up orbs)
Recklessness (Provides Death from Above and Headstrong for Fist of Havoc)
Crest of Alpha Lupi (Hunter chest) - 13 strange coins
Defense: 444/488
Light: 30/36
Special Weapon Ammo (Increases the amount of special weapon ammo you can carry)
Hand Cannon Ammo (Increases the amount of special weapon ammo you can carry)
Keeper of the Pack (Revive teammates faster, they revive you faster, super spawns additional orbs)
Light Beyond Nemesis (Warlock helmet) - 13 strange coins
Defense: 407/447
Light: 30/36
Snap Discharge (Increased melee speed)
Infusion (Replenish health when you pick up an orb)
Keeper of the Pack (Revive teammates faster, they revive you faster, super spawns additional orbs)
As usual, he also has exotic shards (seven strange coins), the Urn of Sacrifice (one strange coin), Sparrow upgrades (twenty-three strange coins), and telemetry for scout rifles, hand cannons, and fusion rifles (one strange coin). There is no heavy ammo synthesis this week.
This week’s upgrade list includes the following:

Crest of Alpha Lupi (Hunter chest)
Helm of Inmost Light (Titan helmet)
Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan chest)

Patience and Time (sniper rifle)
Super Good Advice (machine gun)
Gjallarhorn (rocket launcher)
Truth (rocket launcher)
Weekly Adventure:
This week we finally decided that our group was geared up enough to take a stab at Crota's End. Being our first time, it took us awhile to get our bearings (with help from the internet) and we managed to get all of us through the first part. We had our residential hunter TheHolyFragger go invisible and go from beacon to beacon. We figured after the beacons had turned red (instead of white) the thralls and knights would chase after TheHolyFragger and leave us alone. Once we got to the bridge part we all hid on top of things or behind stuff until it was safe to cross the bridge.
We managed to get passed the next part fairly quickly with the self resurrect (warlock) trick. Everyone dies and then the warlock self resurrects with one second left. This leaves only the sword-bearer and gets rid of all the other mobs on one side. The rest was history and we passed that part quickly.
Deathsinger:
This is the last part we got to. We could kill everything except the Deathsinger. Frustrations ran high combined with a few comical jokes and that was it. We couldn't pass this part.
Later on in the week I skipped the Deathsinger part and beat Crota on the first try. Why is that part so easy compared to the Deathsinger? Oh yeah! It is because you don't have 10,000 knights with swords protecting Crota.
Hall of Shame (sort of):
As mentioned above, Daltgeezy1212 leveled his cryptarch and got an engram that eventually turned into the IceBreaker. The Destiny gods haven't been kind to TH3KILLA77. I even started to get teased for not having the same shiny weapons that the others have. One group member (Daltgeezy1212) said "thats what you get for being a newb." Point taken Daltgeezy1212, way to hit a guy while he is down. Also, for a guy that never talks in public, Daltgeezy1212 had to have been the most annoying team member during Crota. No, you can't try and solo Deathsinger by yourself... No, you don't have "HACKS" to use. No, the rest of us are not scrubs. All of these were repeated over and over again. Now that everyone knows why we all went to bed two nights in a row royally pissed off. Daltgeezy1212, you da man!
