Okay so Bungie really didn't say much about 1.1.2 other than the fact that these things take some time relating it so spaceships coming into dock. here is the analogy that was used on the Bungie Blog in relation to 1.1.2.
Imagine if you will that Updates to Destiny are like the Guardians landing in the Tower. As one swoops in and descends below the deck, the next is already in orbit, on approach, just waiting for clearance to land their ship. Now that 1.1.1 has been tucked in below decks, we can line up the next “release candidate” for final approach.
Don’t get too anxious, now. Traveling through hyperspace ain’t like dusting crops. Without precise calculations, we could fly right through a star or bounce too close to a supernova. That'd end our trip real quick…
We’re still weeks away.
But, before the House of Wolves begins its own descent through the stratosphere with precious cargo in tow, you can expect another Destiny Update to come in for a landing.
“What’s in the box!?” you demand. The work of an air-traffic controller is never done.
I’m going to monitor their flight plan for one more week. Now’s not the time to put an ETA on arrivals. Right this minute, the best I can do is to make promises about future information.
“Awwww, man! Are these updates about to become useless again?”
I’m pretty confident that the weeks to come will play host to a very interesting conversation.
We’ll start rolling out exactly what’s being loaded up for 1.1.2. You’ll meet the people doing a lot of the work to bring updates to Destiny
This week exists in a space between updates… an update within a series of updates. Even an air-traffic controller gets a coffee break. Watch the skies, because we have more birds inbound for you to enjoy.
******The new video segment******
To many stars? Possibly, but we are really excited to announce our weekly video segment. Each week me(Taylor Beames aka TH3KILLA77) and possibly Nate Best (TheHolyFragger) will be discussing the video game news each week and we will occasionally post our weekly adventure on YouTube. We are really excited about the new adventures that are coming to GameFragger.
We will also be re-launching GameFragger.com here in the next few months! We are always trying to make GameFragger one of the best! This week in our video segment we talk about Destiny and Batman Arkham Knight!
The Weekly Adventure!!!
So in the past few weeks our team has been hammering the nightfall strikes with all we have. Why? It seems as that has the highest odds of dropping essential exotics people need to take down Crota. We had just a little luck the past few weeks. TheHolyFragger got the Gjallahorn (Best weapon for Crota) and few people picked up the Hunger of Crota on separate Crota raids.
We felt that we were geared up enough for Crota. Do we have the best raid team in Destiny? Not by any means, but we have a great time together making fun of each other, trash talking and just having fun! So we made our first attempt on Friday night. Never in the history of Crota, has a team been that close without beating Crota! Three or four times the team had Crota with a sliver of health! The first night was a failure.
Saturday came along and GameFragger finally beat down crota (after a few hours) and a few more teammates got the Hunger of Crota. Crota was finally dead at the hands of six caffeine injected individuals. Victory was ours! We beat him so quick that we decided to take our other characters through.. bad idea! Frustrations ran high and we wasted a few hours trying a second time.
Monday rolled around and we finally beat him the second time. This was after TheHolyFragger sent out inspirational YouTube videos of people soloing Crota. Yeah, we all felt pretty pathetic, but we took him down a second time and felt better. Hopefully we can record Crota this weekend with some funny commentary for everyone to enjoy!
