According to THR, Paramount has found their Duke Nukem in the form of wrestler-turned-actor John Cena.
The studio has a live-action adaptation of the popular video game series in the works, and Cena has signed on to play the titular cigar-chomping hero.
No director or writer are currently attached to the project, but it will be interesting to see how this is developed, as the games are notorious for their politically incorrect content.
Will they go with a hard-R? Given the average age of Cena's fanbase that seems unlikely, but you never know.
