Microsoft showed off Bethesda’s Fallout 76 during its E3 conference today in Los Angeles.

Fallout 76 will be a prequel to every single other entry in the series, and it be four times bigger than Fallout 4. Director at Bethesda, Todd Howard describes the world as "an untamed Wastleand for players to explore."

A new trailer showed new footage of an abandoned Vault 76 before venturing out into the desolate wasteland. The world looks less desolate than what we’ve seen in past Fallout games. The trailer drove home the point that players will need to rebuild America.

Rumors suggest that Fallout 76 will be a multiplayer game, but the trailer did not confirm this. Though there's no official release date just yet; the game is available to pre-order on June 15th.
