Fans have been clamoring for a fifth official installment into the Far Cry series ever since they released Far Cry: Primal, a game that didn't add to the story of the main series. But Ubisoft may be getting to something new, as they took to their Facebook page and posted an image of Rook Island, with the line "An Island we never truly left", and on Instagram, the image also included the words "Does it remind you of something?"
Of course, it'd be easy to speculate that Ubisoft is hinting a new Far Cry game, but if that wasn't enough proof for you, the Instagram post also linked to an image of the Far Cry 3 villain along with his famous line about the definition of Madness. So if Ubisoft hinting at a new entry into the Far Cry franchise that has players revisiting Rook Island to fight, once again, that insane enemy? Who knows. How and what they'll do in the coming months will be interesting to watch.
