Far Cry 5 has been veiled in secrecy for the longest time. At first, many fans didn't know whether or not it was going to be made in the first place. And then, when Ubisoft ever so slightly revealed that it was going to be made, fans weren't sure if it was going to be taking us back to the island from the previous game. And then that all changed when Ubisoft started releasing teasers for the game, introducing us to Hope County, USA, the location of this new installment in the series.

Now, we finally have a look at the game's main villain, a religious nut in what is clearly a very red state. So, we've traded in our licenses to slaughter island natives and pillage their villages, for a badge to go through rural America and inflict justice on the unholy. I feel like there is a message that the creators want to beat us over the head with here, but I'm just not sure what it is. Anyways, the trailer can be viewed below, and be prepared to run wild in Hope County come February 27th, 2018.
