For the second time in as many days, Epic Games has posted to social media in regards to
Fortnite Battle Royale’s upcoming fourth season.
Yesterday, the developer posted that season 4 of
Battle Royale will be coming soon alongside an image of what appears to be some sort of superhero (or villain?) inside of a shape that very closely resembles
the mysterious object floating in the game’s sky.
Today, Epic updated that image with another character looks like a knock off Wonder Woman, further suggesting superheroes could be the theme of season 4. The image is accompanied with text that reads:
“Fight with Honor.” Unfortunately, we still don’t have a start date for season 4 as it still only says
“coming soon.”
Over on the
Epic Games website for
Fortnite, this image is posted under
Battle Royale’s “Battle Pass” section. It’s possible these could be the two skins that are rumored to be the final unlockable in the season 4 Battle Pass. Of course, it’s also possible these are just two characters that represent the upcoming season and could possibly be used in a cinematic video for the game.
With season 3 of
Fortnite Battle Royale coming to a close, we will hopefully get more specific details soon. It's expected that at the end of season 3 the meteor will crash into Tilted Towers, although one rumor - which was seemingly correct about the two heroes - suggests it will be Dusty Depot that is hit. In any case, get ready for something big soon!
