After much speculation, Epic Games has finally announced the release of the Fortnite Battle Royale Starter Pack, a bundle of cosmetics available at an affordable price for beginners. Available for just $4.99 (which is quite cheap compared to other Fortnite cosmetics), the Starter Pack includes 600 V-Bucks, a Rogue Agent Outfit and Catalyst Back Bling for the Battle Royale mode.

V-Bucks are the in-game currency that can be spent in both the Battle Royale PVP mode and the Save the World PvE campaign; you can purchase new customization items in Battle Royale or the Llama Pinata card packs in Save the World which contain weapon, trap, and gadget schematics as well as new Heroes and more.

The Fortnite Battle Royale Starter Pack is available on all platforms - PS4, Xbox One, PC and mobile - via the in-game store. It was originally advertised to last until April 1, so you probably want to buy it before then if interested.

Additionally, we have also just learned from the in-game news feed that the “Guided Missile” weapon will be coming soon. We don’t yet have details about this new deadly weapon, but the description teases: “Remote control destruction from above.”

It’s likely the Guided Missile will release with patch v3.4.0 later this week.
