Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 7 is coming to an end. Epic Games has announced the highly anticipated finale event, "Operation: Sky Fire," will commence on September 12 at 4:00 p.m. ET.

Keeping up with the theme of this season, players will finally stop the alien Invasion they've been fending off for weeks. In the upcoming event, players will join a strike team and sneak aboard the Mothership to deliver IO's (Imagined Order's) final message to the invading Aliens.

Those interested in participating in the mission are urged to join the Operation: Sky Fire event playlist when it opens up 30 minutes prior to the event's start. Players can join the event with a full lobby of 16 friends.

Operation: Sky Fire will be a one-time, live event. That means once it's over, the only way to experience it again is through someone else's recording of the event.

With the end of Chapter 2 - Season 7 rapidly approaching, make sure to complete any remaining Epic Quests and exchange your Battle Stars for whatever rewards you want. Additionally, any remaining Alien Artifacts should be collected and exchanged for additional Kymera styles. Any unclaimed Battle Stars or Alien Artifacts at the end of Chapter 2 - Season 7 will be automatically redeemed for rewards and styles with the earliest available unlocks. Quests that are outside of the Battle Pass — like LeBron James or Vox Hunter — do carry over into the next season.
