Fortnite's tenth season as well as
Fortnite as a whole was recently brought to an end as the entire game was swallowed by a black hole —
find out more on that here. Since then and currently, players are unable to play the popular battle royale game nor even navigate through its menus.
It was all very mysterious and the future of
Fortnite was uncertain. That was until a trailer and seemingly official promotional images leaked online revealing that
Fortnite: Chapter 2 is coming soon. It's revealed in the leaked ttrailer that seasons will be set back to the beginning and a new map, vehicles, and gameplay mechanics will be introduced.
You can see the leaked images above and below you can check out the leaked video and as well as what appears to be a bird's-eye view of the upcoming map. There are new location, there's boats, and new weapons. It also appears that the visuals have been revamped a bit and things like chests have been remodelled.
It's believed that the first season of
Fortnite: Chapter 2 will kick off on October 15th.
