Yesterday, Epic Games
released the first teaser for the upcoming tenth season of their popular battle royale:
Fortnite. While the first image and tweet instructed players to
"Think Back" — hinting at the return of Dusty Divot — this new one says to
"Look Forward."
The new teaser image features a hulking, ominous silhouette of a mech which is wielding some glowing sci-fi weaponary. Additionally, the image includes a logo which appears to hint at the return of The Visitor. This mysterious character arrived via meteorite in the third season and was responsible for launching the rocket in the fourth — which went onto cause the spatial rifts that existed until season six.
The symbol which is located on the left side of the image was recognised as the same one which The Visitor had emblazoned on their shoulder. They haven't been seen since their aformentioned antics, however, maybe season ten will reveal what's up with them. We'll just have to wait until August 1st to find out.
