Epic Games has announced that Fortnite update 3.6 will be "sticking its landing" tomorrow, April 24. Downtime for the update is expected to begin around 4:00am ET.
The tweet's mention of "sticking its landing" is in reference to the Clinger Grenade which was recently spotted in the in-game news section. The Clinger Grenade is a fancy name for what is commonly referred to as a sticky grenade. It's description reads: "Stick this explosive to any surface... or player!"
In addition to the Clinger Grenade, many are wondering if tomorrow's update will bring the destruction of Tilted Towers. For weeks now, a meteor spotted in the sky has gotten closer and become more active, suggesting something big is about to happen within the game. Many have speculated that the meteor is headed towards Tilted Towers, an area located towards the center of the map that tends to draw quite the crowd. Of course, there's still a few days to go until the end of Season 3 and some don't think Epic would wipe out Tilted Towers until after the season. Perhaps tomorrow's update will simply be the next step in the city's impending doom.
In any case, check back tomorrow for the full patch notes for Fortnite update 3.6.
