When PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds developer Bluehole announced the Xbox Game Preview spring roadmap, the company admitted they weren’t satisfied with the game’s current console performance. In an effort to address these concerns, they’ve rolled out a new update for the battle royale game on Xbox One.
Today's PUBG update, Patch 11, is now available on Xbox One today. It focuses on performance optimization and stability improvements for the console version. Additionally, the update also introduces changes to inventory management that aim to increase the speed at which players can navigate menus and change their loadout. This is just the first round of improvements coming to PUBG on Xbox One, with future updates addressing improvements to controller options, game matchmaking, reporting features, and more. Bluehole is also looking to make it easier to capture game highlights and introduce achievements. Lastly, as a reminder, the Miramar desert map is still expected to launch for Xbox in “early Spring.”
