Electronic Arts has announced today that they will be bringing back their pre-E3 event EA Play later this year, and rumour has it that it's there they will finally pull back the curtain on Star Wars Battlefront 2.
We've heard a few bits and pieces about what to expect from the highly anticipated sequel, but have yet to see anything official so this seems like the perfect place for a first look to be unveiled. New iterations of yearly games like FIFA, Madden, and NHL are also expected to be revealed here, while the company could very well also decide to show off exciting EA Originals like the upcoming Sea of Solitude.
For those of you unfamiliar with EA Play, the event includes live broadcasts and community contests along with the aforementioned debut of the company's biggest and best upcoming new releases.
Started last year as a departure of sorts from a traditional booth at E3, it's set to take place from June 10th to 12th at the Hollywood Palladium, while E3 2017 occurs right after from June 13th to 15th.
