Star Wars actor John Boyega has had played a pretty big role in the promotion of Star Wars: Battlefront 2. A fan of the game, Boyega, who plays Finn in the new trilogy of Star Wars films, made headlines last year when he
publicly questioned EA about the original Battlefront's lack of a single-player story mode. Flash forward to this year's Star Wars: Battlefront 2, which now boasts a rather impressive story, and Boyega has been heavily involved in the marketing of the game.
In addition to voicing over a recent trailer for the game, Boyega will join Xbox's Aaron Greenberg, GM of Games Marketing, on tomorrow's episode of Xbox Live Sessions. During the interactive livestream, which will be hosted on the
Mixer Xbox Channel on Wednesday, November 15 at 11 a.m. PT, Boyega will play Star Wars: Battlefront 2 on the newly launched Xbox One X.
"John’s been eager to come on Xbox Live Sessions for a while now, but we told him we had a special one we were saving just for him with Star Wars Battlefront 2 on Xbox One X," said Greenberg.
"It will be great seeing him forge a new path as Iden Versio, commander of Inferno Squad and fly through Imperial Dock Yards and take down massive capital ships as he pilots legendary Starfighters."
Not only will Boyega get a chance to show off his gaming skills on "the world's most powerful console" and go hands-on with Battlefront 2 days before its November 17th, but fans will also have the opportunity to interact with him and ask him questions, as well as win special prizes.
