During the second year of
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands' post-launch support, we've had a chance to help
Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher gather intel to take the Santa Blanca cartel down, join
Rainbow 6 to fight crime lords, and even meet the old (new?)
Ghost Recon team from
Future Soldier. Ubisoft has announced that the fourth, and last
Special Operation in Year 2, is dropping on February 27, 2019.
Special Operation 4 will feature some fresh content for PvE and PvP players, including a brand new PvE mode that will test your endurance. Upon completing the mode for the first time, you will receive an outfit set.
Ghost War, the game's PvP mode, will get one additional class, as well as two new maps.
According to Ubisoft, those who purchase
Year 2 Pass (priced at $29,99) will get a free pack containing customization items and a weapon, as well as early, direct access to the new Ghost War class starting on Feb. 27 for one week. That's not everything, as, just like in
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and
Metro: Exodus, the player will now be able to change their time of day via a new setting option in campaign mode and solo Ghost Mode. Ubisoft will release more details on
SO4 in the coming days.
The Santa Blanca drug cartel has transformed the beautiful South American country of Bolivia into a perilous narco-state, leading to lawlessness, fear, and rampant violence. The citizens of Bolivia have been plagued by the criminal influence of the cartel, but all hope is not lost. Now only the Ghosts, an elite US Special Forces team, can save the country from complete collapse.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC NOW!
