The first special Ghost Recon: Wildlands operation has ignited players' imagination as it teased the return of the legendary agent Sam Fisher and the Splinter Cell brand. The DLC introduced some new Splinter Cell-themed weapons, guns, outfits, and obviously, iconic goggles. Most importantly, Michael Ironside's interpretation of Sam Fisher was also a part of the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell/Ghost Recon: Wildlands crossover. The second operation was focused on the world of Rainbow Six: Siege.
Special Operation 2 is the second major update that was launched on the 24th of July as part of Wildlands' latest season of content. It offers a new Rainbow Six Siege mission, which sees Twitch on an assignment to track down a rogue agents in the Wildlands. But that's not all, as players also received the Rainbow Six Gear Pack, which offers the HK 416 assault rifle and Caveira’s Luison handgun.
In the latest "behind the scenes" video, the developers from Ubisoft Paris explain how The Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands & Rainbow 6 Siege crossover came together. The DLC was the child of the collaboration between Ubi Paris and the team that's responsible for Siege at Ubi Montreal.
