ALIEN: ISOLATION Arrives On The Nintendo Switch On December 5th; New Gameplay & Content Trailer
Feral Interactive has announced that Alien: Isolation will be available for the Nintendo Switch from December 5th — with a brand new gameplay trailer. Check it out...
Alien: Isolation released back in 2014 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Linux, and Mac. Quite positively received for the most part, Alien: Isolation sees the player assume the role of Amanda Ripley as she attempts to figure out what happened to her long-lost mother whilst taking on a Xenomorph — which originally appeared back in the 1979 film Alien.
Back in January, there were rumours of a sequel but it turned out to be something new entirely — a mobile game by the name of Alien: Blackout. However, it was revealed that Alien: Isolation would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Today, Feral Interactive released a gameplay trailer which shows off the horror title in action on Nintendo's versatile console.
The developer also revealed when we'll be able to get our hands on the Nintendo Switch version of Alien: Isolation. In a tweet, Feral Interactive revealed the December 5th release date as well as how much it will cost you in dollars, pounds, and euros. Unfortunately, seems that Alien: Isolation won't be getting a physical release for the Switch but rather be exclusive to the Nintendo eShop.
Check out the tweet and gameplay trailer below (via Feral Interactive):
When she left Earth, Ellen Ripley promised her daughter she would return home to celebrate her 11th birthday. She never made it. Fifteen years later, Amanda Ripley learns that the flight recorder from her mother’s ship has been recovered. Amanda enters Sevastopol space station to finally solve the mystery of her mother’s disappearance, only to confront an unknown menace.
Alien: Isolation is available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Linux and Mac — and will be available for the Nintendo Switch from December 5th, 2019.
