Blizzard opened the World of Warcraft: Forever storefront on BlizzCon Saturday, and the physical box is already sitting next to the digital packs. The game itself launches November 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST. Access rides a regular WoW subscription or game time, the same way Classic does.
The extras are optional. They are also the only way for players to be able to play the new Skyborne race, the Zephras Isle start, and the September 17 beta.
"Begin a new adventure in the world where it all started with the World of Warcraft: Forever Collector's Edition, now available for pre-purchase," the official post reads. "Journey through an untamed Azeroth in its wild beginnings with a keepsake set crafted for champions ready to carve a new path, display their Warcraft pride, and take their first steps into this new chapter."
The Collector's Edition is $150 on the Blizzard Gear Store. It does not ship until November. Inside the box is a 13-inch statue of the original cinematic dwarf hunter and his bear, a Zephras Isle mousepad, art prints, collectible pins, and a companion journal. The digital envelope is the Warcraft Forever Collection: Skyborne Epic Pack, Warcraft III: Reforged, and the new Forsaken Kingdom campaign.
That digital code is the part that actually gets you into Forever early. Epic-tier access covers the Skyborne race, the island intro, beta from September 17 through October 21 PDT, 30 days of game time at launch, and the cosmetic pile that spans Forever and modern WoW. Beta instructions come by email. One code per account. You cannot stack a second beta key onto an account that already has it.
Players who do not want a statue can stay digital on Battle.net. Three digital upgrades are live:
Skyborne Heroic Pack, $29.99. Comes with the Skyborne Race, Zephras Isle, early name reservation, Cerulean Prideclaw ground mount, Shen'dorei Skyseer's Garb, Veteran Adventurer's Rucksack, Shen'dorei Windwell toy, Skyborne housing decor for modern WoW, and one Invite-A-Friend launch code.
Skyborne Epic Pack, $59.99. Everything in Heroic, plus beta, 30 days of game time, the matching bear mount and outdoor-wear set, Lordaeron and Shen'dorei tabards, the Zergling, Panda, Diablo, and Pachimari pets, and two extra invite codes.
Warcraft Forever Collection, $79.99. Everything in Epic, plus Warcraft III: Reforged, Forsaken Kingdom, and Forsaken and Human figurine decor for modern housing. This bundle is a limited BlizzCon 2026 bundle. The shop has been calling it a special edition.
Invite codes go out by email starting October 20. Friends can use them during launch week, November 4 through November 11. Gift purchases do not qualify. Name reservation for pack buyers runs October 27 through November 3, first come, first served. The Prideclaw still needs the in-game riding skill before it moves.
The Collection is the crossover pitch. Forsaken Kingdom is the new Reforged campaign that bridges The Frozen Throne to the first days of WoW, including the first Forsaken paladin. Buy the $80 digital bundle or the $150 box and you get the strategy game, that campaign, and the Forever Epic stack in one checkout.
There is a messy upgrade path if you want both the box and instant digital access. Blizzard says you can buy a digital pack now, then redeem the Collector's Edition code later, with a possible Battle.net Balance credit equal to what you already paid, as long as you redeem by December 31, 2027. Some credits apply automatically. Some need support. Not every product path qualifies. Australia and New Zealand buy the physical set through local retailers instead of the Gear Store.
Forever still does not require any of this to log in on November 4. A live subscription is enough for the base game. The paid line is the new race, the island, the beta window, the Reforged campaign, and the desk statue. Heroic is the cheapest door onto Skyborne. Epic is the beta door. Collection and Collector's Edition are the same digital peak, one with a box.
The Warcraft Forever beta is the closest date on the sheet for fans. September 17 is Thursday. October 21 is when that test closes. Raids are not part of that first slice. Official posts have launch at November 4 and a later raid unlock on the public roadmap.
