Blizzard is putting the first real look at World of Warcraft: Forever dungeons in front of a live audience this afternoon. The official Warcraft account posted that a hands-on dungeon showcase goes live at 3:30 p.m. PT on the WoW Stage and on twitch.tv/warcraft.
The runners are AnnieFuchsia, bbno$, Tyler1, Xaryu, and Guzu. That is the first time World Of Warcraft Forever's new instances leave the announcement slides and get played in public.
World Of Warcraft: Forever is the Classic+ version Blizzard revealed at the BlizzCon 2026 opening ceremony. As we covered earlier today, it launches November 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST and stays on a regular WoW subscription. Beta starts September 17. The cap stays at 60. New content is supposed to keep arriving in that same bracket instead of pushing the game into the next expansion. Check out the the gameplay trailer for it below:
There are nine new dungeons at launch for Warcraft Forever.
City of Dalaran is a 20-35 instance. The magical barrier that hid the city after Warcraft 3 is down. The Kirin Tor have the place standing again, and they do not have it under control.
The ruins of Lordaeron sit at 15-20. The Forsaken are trying to take the city back. A necromancer has moved in. Alliance groups can enter that space too.
Hall of Thanes is 13-18. The vault under Ironforge has been breached. Alliance players are there to protect what is left. Horde players can try to steal it.
An Explorer's League excavation in the Wetlands is on the list. So is the Drowned City, an old troll ruin off the Stranglethorn coast. That one is already playable on the BlizzCon floor.
The high-level wing is 40-60: Alcaz Island Prison, the Shaper's Terrace, Krol'Dok Stronghold, and Blackmaw Hold. Alcaz is the Defias ransom hole, with naga in the mix. Blackmaw Hold is the furbolg city behind the gate in Azshara.
Those instances sit next to the two launch raids the panel named. Barrow Deeps is 10 players, with three entrances, including one in Hyjal. Hyjal Summit is 20 players. Onyxia still exists in the 40-player size. The public roadmap has raids unlocking in early December, not on November 4.
That is the point of this 3:30 showcase. The morning gave names and level bands. The streamer block is the first time anyone outside the hall gets to watch groups actually walk into those dungeons.
Warcraft Forever still lives next to modern WoW and the existing Classic versions. The team said Azeroth is the main character. Leveling is supposed to stay worth doing. New quests are spread through 1-60, not dumped at the cap. The Skyborne start on Zephras. Forsaken paladins and dwarf shaman are in the race and class mix. Graphics can flip between original SD and the updated HD pass.
The physical box and the digital packs are already on sale. The game is free with a live subscription. The paid line is the Skyborne race, Zephras Isle, beta, and the collectibles. Heroic is $29.99. Epic is $59.99 and is the beta key. The Collection is $79.99 and adds Warcraft III: Reforged plus Forsaken Kingdom. The Collector's Edition is $150 on the Gear Store and puts a 13-inch dwarf-and-bear statue in the box with that same digital stack.
The Deep Dive still arrives tomorrow. Hardcore for Forever is on that later slate. Raids stay locked until December on the published roadmap. Today's session is dungeons only.
If you want the first look, the WoW Stage and the Warcraft Twitch channel are the two doors. Annie, bbno$, Tyler1, Xaryu, and Guzu are the five names on the post.
