Bungie has done a little shuffling with its Destiny 2 development roadmap. Update 1.1.4 is still due out in less than two weeks on March 27; however, it will not contain the Heroic Strike Modifiers as originally planned.

According to Bungie, the team discovered a "major issue impacting Heroic Strike Modifiers" late in the development cycle. As a result, the feature has now been pushed back to update 1.2.0, which will arrive in May alongside Season 3. Bungie says the delay will allow the team to use the extra time "to add more variety than was in the original plan."

It's not all bad news though. The Weekly Crucible Playlist will actually be ready in time for the update on March 27. This playlist will contain Rumble, Mayhem, and 6v6 Iron Banner to start, each of them appearing on the following dates:
  • Mar 27: Rumble
  • Apr 3: Mayhem
  • Apr 10: Iron Banner
  • Apr 17: Rumble
  • Apr 24: Mayhem
  • May 1: Iron Banner
As a reminder, Update 1.1.4 will bring a major overhaul to Iron Banner, resulting in the mode feeling more like what we saw in the original Destiny. Update 1.1.4 also promises tons of other Crucible and Sandbox changes as well. Check out what's planned in the roadmap below.
