PUBG MOBILE X RESIDENT EVIL 2 Crossover Event Teased With New Trailer
Capcom and PUBG Corp. teased today a new collaboration event that'll see the world of Resident Evil 2 mix with PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile. Check out the teaser trailer below!
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile will be getting a crossover event with Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake.
Capcom's Japanese Resident Evil account (which is known as Biohazard in the region) teased the upcoming collaboration. The translated tweet reads:
"[PUBG MOBILE] × [Resident Evil Re: 2] collaboration decided! The world's most popular mobile game and survival horror monument. What kind of novel play can the combination of two super-IPs produce?"
The tweet was accompanied by a brief teaser trailer for the crossover event, but it offers little in terms of details. The video is filled with scrambled footage of zombies roaming through hallways. There's also a brief sequence of a character that looks very much like Leon, suggesting we'll be getting character skins for the game's main characters.
The official PUBG Mobile account also confirmed the crossover. Unfortunately, neither company provided any details about the crossover event or when it will be released.
Earlier this year, PUBG Mobile ran crossover events with Suicide Squad and Mission Impossible: Fallout .
