With the 2025 NFL Draft just hours away, EA is using the excitement surrounding the big event to announce EA Sports Madden NFL 26. The NFL Draft represents a transition period for the nation's top college football athletes as they continue their career in the NFL. The announcement trailer celebrates the milestone as it shows a player by the name of J.D. receive a call from Washington Commanders coach Dan Quinn.
While we'll have to wait for details about Madden NFL 26 gameplay and its modes, it suggests a deeper integration with College Football 26's Road to Glory. We don't know for certain yet, but the way EA is marketing both titles together makes it seem like it will.
Madden 26 will be released on August 14, 2025 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Once again there will be a three-day Early Access period from August 11th through August 13th for anyone who purchases the Deluxe Edition or the EA Sports MVP Bundle (which includes EA Sports College Football 26).
Pre-orders for this year's game are already available. The Standard Edition costs $69.99 and includes the base game, Cover Athlete Elite Player Item, Superstar Legendary XP Boost, and Franchise Coach Ability Points.
There's also the Deluxe Edition for $99.99. This includes all of the aforementioned Standard Edition content, plus 3 Day Early Access, 4600 Madden Points, Early Access Solo Challenges, Season 1 Elite Player Item, and a Player Card Exclusive Item.
For the most passionate football fans who plan on getting both Madden 26 and College Footabll 26, there's the EA Sports MVP Bundle. This comes with all of the content offered in both the Madden 26 and College Football 26 Deluxe Editions and adds even more bonus content, including the 99 OVR Travis Hunter Player Item in College Football 25 & Madden NFL 25 on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 (available as a pre-order item only until April 29th). You'll also get the Bundle Exclusive MUT Elite Player Item and CUT Elite Player Item.
The main draw of the EA Sports MVP Bundle though is the fact that you get both Madden NFL 26 Deluxe Edition and EA Sports College Football 26 Deluxe Edition for $149.99. Considering both Deluxe Editions cost $99.99 on their own, this represents some significant savings.
It's also a great deal if you plan on buying both games because even the Standard Editions for both on their own would cost $140. So you're getting all this extra content for just $10 basically.
