Brawlhalla is a free-to-play party game developed by independent studios Blue Mammoth Games that was released for the PlayStation 4, Windows, and macOS in October of 2017. The Nintendo Switch and Xbox One ports are on the way and will be releasing on the
6th of November.
The game is a classic 1v1, 2v2, free-for-all, and even 8-player 4v4 multiplayer game, much like
Super Smash Bros.; the game it drew inspiration from. It features a huge roster of 40 characters that wield up to 2 different weapons, and can switch their fighting stances—which change the character's play style.
Recently, we got more news regarding
Brawlhalla's roster, which will be getting an interesting, and rather unexpected, guest fighter joining its roster. As announced on the verified
Brawlhalla Twitter accounbt, Ubisoft's very own Rayman, from the popular
Rayman series, will be joining the fight on the
6th of November; the very same day the game is releasing on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
Blue Mammoth Games was actually acquired by Ubisoft earlier in March of this year, which makes Rayman becoming a fighter in
Brawlhalla less unusual, or unexpected than one could initially think.
An eternal battle arena where the greatest warriors in history brawl to prove who’s the best that ever was, is, or will be. Every match is an epic test of skill, speed, and strength, and every victory brings additional glory and bragging rights to the winners.
Brawlhalla is available for the PlayStation 4, Windows, and macOS, and will be available for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on the 6th of November.
