After being funded via Kickstarter backers to the tune of over $823 thousand dollars, the Friday the 13th video game
is set to be released this Spring according to IllFonic and Gun Media. It seems the developers have added some new killing animations
since last June's E3 trailer. In addition to the new footage, a new "Hell Jason" skin was also unveiled.
Friday the 13th: The Game is a multiplayer horror survival game putting one player in the role of the supernatural Camp Crystal Lake killer and several others in the role of campers. The goal will be for the campers to survive the night while Jason searches the camp grounds for his next victim. Jason will have special skills such as motion and noise detection and the spiritual guidance of his dead mother to locate campers. In turn, campers will have special skills which allow them to lay false trails or even direct the unstoppable machete-wielders towards their fellow campers.
