FRIDAY THE 13th Video Game Delayed To 2017

Publisher Gun Media and Developer IllFonic's upcoming Friday the 13th survival horror adventure video game has been pushed back from its original October 2016 release date to Spring 2017. However, a lucky few will be given access before the end of 2016.

Originally starting out as a Kickstarter campaign in October 2015, the forthcoming Friday the 13th video game adaptation from IllFonic and Gun Media was originally slated to be released this month.

However, with October half over and no confirmed release date, many backers and gamers prognosticated that a delay announcement was imminent.  Sure enough, the announcement for a new Spring 2017 release date was just confirmed, along with the reveal that a single-player mode was being added to the multi-player game.

However, high-level Kickstarter backers will be given access to a closed beta in late 2015 which will help IllFonic and Gun Media iron out a few wrinkles.  In addition, those invited to the closed beta will be able to had out codes to four additional gamers.
