This Halloween, video game aficionados will most likely have a field day enjoying The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, the new interactive horror drama by Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco, as the game will become available on Friday the 30th of October.
The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is a direct sequel to last year's The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, but this time around players will be following a new group of characters led by Andrew, the game's main protagonist, who is being played by British actor Will Poulter.
One of the series' main selling points is letting players play the game they want, since their decisions may affect the story in surprising ways. This is also something that gives The Dark Pictures a lot of replay value, since players can experience different events depending on their choices; choices that can even lead to different endings.
Bandai Namco has released a set of interactive trailers for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, which will give viewers a choice at the end of each trailer, and giving them a taste of what the game actually has in store for them once it finally becomes available.
For the sake of the article, I've only shared three of these gameplay clips, which are the decisions made by Andrew; that lead to a rather unfortunate scenario. You are more than welcome to choose any of the other options, and see all of the different outcomes the game can throw at you.
Take a look:
Little Hope is the second game in The Dark Pictures Anthology. Trapped and isolated in the abandoned town of Little Hope, 4 college students and their professor must escape the nightmarish apparitions that relentlessly pursue them through an impenetrable fog.
The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is expected to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Friday the 30th of October.
