Earlier this week on Blue Protocol's official Youtube they posted a new trailer titled Fight For The Future. The trailer that dropped gives soon to be players a small taste of the 5 classes that they can play as and what they can excpect from them. Check out the video and more details about the game down below.
The five playable classes are Blade Warden, Keen Strider, Spell Weaver, Twin Striker, and Foe Breaker. An interesting point to note is that classes in the game are very flexible and not tied to a character permanently. Instead, you can change classes as you wish, allowing you to use different weapons and skills to adapt to different circumstances. This is a very nice feature for all sorts of reasons, mainly due to the fact that you won't have to swap characters and redo lots of things. Players will be able to pick the right class for the right situation.
The game has already launched on PC Japan, it arrived on June 14th over there. The game was originally scheduled to launch globally for free in the second half of 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. But as we can see, that did not happen sadly. The game will instead be launching in the West in 2024. Bandai Namco and Amazon Games are partnering together to work on bringing the game to the west. There will be a closed beta test for the PC version of the game later this year.
The game is being developed in Unreal Engine 4 by Project Sky Blue. They are aiming to bring together a "theatrical anime" graphics experience with multiplayer features.
