Back in December, we found out that Game Atelier's
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom had managed to
sell an impressive 50 thousand copies — as the game's publisher FDG Entertainment shared the news on their official Twitter account.
While
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Windows, the publisher also revealed that the console version that had sold the most copies was the Nintendo Switch — although we weren't given a specific number of sales.
Just yesterday, FDG Entertainment revealed another interesting fact about
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom since they call the Nintendo Switch the most profitable console business ever for the publisher; even going as far as saying that it is "
another universe in regards of sales numbers".
That isn't all, but FDG Entertainment has also that sales ration is 8:1 on the Nintendo Switch vs all of the other platforms
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is available for. The publisher still hasn't shared exact sales numbers for any of the platforms the game is available for, but we're really looking forward to them finally making it public.
Regardless,
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has been doing great and let's keep our figners crossed for both the developer and publisher to keep that momentum going. Our hats are off to you, Game Atelier and FDG Entertainment.
