During August's Nintendo Indie World presentation, Microsoft announced that Moon Studios GmbH's critically acclaimed
Ori and the Blind Forest was making its way into the Nintendo Switch in the form of a
Definitive Edition.
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is further proof that Microsoft and Nintendo's relationship is going strong, and that players will now be able to enjoy this almost unbearably sad, and yet uplifting story on-the-go.
Today Nintendo has announced that pre-purchases for
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition are already available via the Nintendo Switch eShop or via the
Nintendo's official website for the game. The good news don't end there, as the company has also confirmed that a free demo of the game is also available for players to download and try out at their leisure.
The forest of Nibel is dying. After a powerful storm sets a series of devastating events in motion, Ori must journey to find courage and confront a dark nemesis to save the forest of Nibel. Winner of several prestigious awards, “Ori and the Blind Forest” tells the tale of a young orphan destined for heroics through a visually stunning Action-Platformer crafted by Moon Studios.
Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition will release for the Nintendo Switch on the 27th of September.
