Madmind Studio is almost ready to release their debut project, Agony. The horror game is being made by a relatively small team of only 9 talented developers who previously worked on The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, Tom Clancy's The Division, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, and Alien Rage. Their (hopefully) big debut will give you a chance to visit hell. To be more precise - to successfully get the hell out from it.
The new story trailer suggests a pretty hardcore, bloody and awful experience, but I'm sure fans of the Saw, Ichi the Killer, and Hostel series will like it. Agony was funded on Kickstarter back in November 2016 and faced a small delay in March to support every gamer with "the best possible experience" no matter which platform they play on. Hopefully, the game will live up to its hellishly intriguing promise.
The game has also had to deal with some problems with the registration on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The developer revealed in April that the censorship was required to ensure that the game will be released on both consoles, but the PC owners will have the option to completely remove it with a free patch. Try to survive and solve the riddle behind the mysterious Red Goddess down below:
Agony is a first-person survival horror game currently in development. Players will begin their journey as tormented soul within the depths of hell without any memories about his past. The special ability to control people on their path, and even possess simple minded demons, gives the player the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions they are in. By exploring hostile environment and interacting with the other weary souls of the hellscape, the hero will soon understand that there is only one way to escape from Hell, and it will require a meeting of the mystical Red Goddess.
Agony will be released on May 29, 2018 across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
