Publisher Deep Silver just revealed a CGI trailer for their new installment -  Dakar 18, an open-world, off-road racing simulator.

Inspired by the grueling and dangerous real-world rally-cross event of the same name, Dakar 18 will take realism and visuals seriously. The game is said to be "one of the biggest open worlds ever made in a racing game", according to developers. Players will be able to pilot many different vehicles - from nimble bikes to bulking big rigs, all of which handles differently to the many types of terrains feature in each rally.

With all the information so far, it seems that Dakar 18 will be taking the arcade elements of the Motorstorm series, aiming for the realism of the Dirt series and will be a larger open-world than The Crew, to create one epic racing experience.

Check out the CGI Trailer below:

Dakar 18 is set to release for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
