Crash Team Racing is a racing game that featured characters from the
Crash Bandicoot series; being Sony's answer to Nintendo's very popular Mario Kart series. Developed by Naughty Dog, the game was originally released for the Sony PlayStation back in 1999.
A few days ago,
we got some information that seemed to point to Activision working on a new Crash Team Racing game; the rumoured started when PlayStation Access presenter Hollie Bennet got a very cryptic message that said "Sliding into the Game Awards 6/12"alongside with some Crash-coloured furry dices.
The internet was quick to assume this cryptic message hinted at Activision working on a new
Crash Team Racing game, and they were not wrong since the developer finally put the rumour to rest last night during The Gamw Awards; when they officially announced
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is an enhanced version—much like
Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and
Spyro: Reignited Trilogy—of the original 1999 game developed by Naughty Dog, and it will be coming out for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on the
21st of June in 2019.
