Publisher THQ Nordic has officially announced that the first major DLC for Gunfire Games'
Darksiders III will be released tomorrow, giving all fans of the slasher series a chance to battle some nightmarish creatures in a special mode similar to
Rise of the Horde from
Gears of War 4. In the Crucible, once you enter a special arena, enemies will come at you in 100 waves, one more deadly than the other.
To unlock brand new rewards and items, you will have to survive all one hundred waves of those dangerous beings, and also face the final, mysterious challenge. The more Sins you defeat in the main storyline (there are seven of them in total), the further into the titular Crucible you may pass. The first DLC will be included in the Deluxe, Collector’s and Apocalypse Edition of last year's
Darksiders III.
The second expansion,
Keeper of the Void, is a story mission set in the Serpent Holes, ancient paths that worm their way beneath the husk of this dead world and beyond. During the playthrough, Fury will have to face an unknown ancient danger. Finishing the quest filled with new opponents and puzzles in the brand new, yet familiar location will reward you with new weapons and Abyssal armor.
Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash Action Adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins.
