CD Projekt RED announcing that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition would be releasing for the Nintendo Switch is probably one of the least expected announcements they could've made during this year's E3; one that made a handful of Nintendo Switch owners happy.
One of the things that many wondered, however, was how the graphically demanding title would run on the less powerful hardware the Nintendo Switch has in comparison with PC and other home consoles The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released on.
Thankfully, the people over CD Projekt RED have done their best to make The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition run the best it can on the Nintendo Switch; understanding, of course, that some compromises needed to be made in order to make the game run without any problems.
Today at Gamescom, the Nintendo of Europe crew got the chance to play over 20 minutes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition on the Nintendo Switch in handheld mode and, to be quite honest, the game actually looks and runs great.
The Nintendo of Europe crew is joined by Senior Level Designer at CD Projek RED Miles Tost — who also gives us some information about the game itself, as well as other interesting details.
