Valkyria Chronicles is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Sega that was released for the PlayStation 3 in April of 2008.
Due to the game's popularity, Valkyria Chronicles got two sequels and Sega even decided to port the original game to PC in 2014. In 2016, a remastered version of the title also came out for the PlayStation 4 in the form of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered.
Now, according to Game Informer, Sega has officially announced that the original Valkyria Chronicles will be making its way into the Nintendo Switch and it will be releasing on the 16th of October.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 for the Nintendo Switch will be releasing on the 15th of September, and players who already own the game, by the time Valkyria Chronicles comes out, will get a 25% discount off when purchasing it.
Game Informer also mentions that Sega has said this Valkyria Chronicles game is not the remastered version that came out for the PlayStation 4 two years ago.
Given that Valkyria Chronicles for the Nintendo Switch will be releasing a bit over a month from now, it is safe to assume that we will be getting a trailer for it very soon.
