PAX East 2019 has ended, but it doesn't mean that we're done talking about last week's big show, as new videos from the Boston-based expo are being shared every hour. Thanks to YouTuber Josh Knowles, we have our first good look at
Warsaw, Pixelated Milk's RPG that was showcased at the expo.
In
Warsaw, you play as a member of the Polish Underground State who has to save as many civilians as they can (by eliminating the unified armed forces of Nazis in German-occupied Poland) during the Warsaw Uprising, one of the lesser-known WWII operations. As for its gameplay,
Warsaw shares some similarities with
Darkest Dungeon, as both titles are turn-based RPGs with hand-painted graphics.
According to the studio,
Warsaw will offer you a chance to fight Third Reich "
using skills, smarts, and urban warfare tactics as your only means of opposing the ruthless and well-armed units of the enemy. Engage in relentless battles in turn-based combat, using cover, flanking and complementing skills to get the upper hand. Leverage your heroes’ unique attributes in fighting the enemy."
Pixelated Milk''s
