Code Vein is an upcoming Souls-like title that is being developed by Bandai Namco Studios, which was announced all the way back in April of 2017 and has been pushed back quite a few times already; keeping in mind that the original release date for the game would've seen Code Vein releasing in September of 2018.
Thankfully, the developer revealed during this year's E3 that
Code Vein will finally be releasing for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the
27th of September; that is, if everything goes as planned — but the game already looked pretty finished at E3, so things are looking up.
As Bandai Namco keeps releasing new information about the long-awaited
Code Vein, a new trailer has been released by the developer; this time introducing us to a vicious wolf-like creature that players will have to fight when they finally get their hands on the game: The Successor of the Ribcage.
Take a look:
In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood.
Code Vein will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 27th of September.
