Code Vein tries to please the fans of the
Dark Souls series, but it reminds me a lot of
God Eater, especially with its unique art-style. This comparison is not really surprising considering that many developers who worked at
God Eater are currently working at Bandai Namco Studios.
The newest video showcases the interiors of the vampire guild that will probably serve as one big gaming hub. The rest of the gameplay presents some story missions in two drastically different environments. You don't have to play these missions alone as the game gives you chance to unite with other players. The quality of the video is far being top-notch, but it's still worth taking a look.
