Code Vein, Bandai Namco's newest role-playing game inspired by gameplay mechanics found in games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One September 28, 2018. The Hiroshi Yoshimura-helmed project will feature an AI partner to help you, but you can also "hire" a real person to help you against the difficult opponents and monsters you may encounter.
Bandai Namco has released a new Code Vein trailer introducing partner character Mia Karnstein, voiced by Ai Kayano (No Game No Life) She's a wandering female Revenant wandering in the land called “Vein," accompanied by her younger brother, the only family she has left, whom she will do anything to protect. In battle, Mia uses a bayonet-styled weapon that can be used to attack at a distance, and a scorpion tail-like Blood Veil called “Stinger” with long reach.
The sinister Stinger tears apart enemies and sap away their blood with ease (the second powerful weapon is claw-like Ogre).
Code Vein is already available to pre-order on Amazon for those who don’t want to miss out on getting their copy first, available for both PS4 and Xbox One. Take a look:
In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood.
Code Vein will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 28, 2018.
