We only have the debut teaser trailer for Shadows Die Twice thus far, which appeared during last year’s The Game Awards and it's hard to say anything about the game except that it will be brutal and graphic. There's no release date, no confirmed platforms, no official title. The game probably won't be titled Shadow Die Twice, and just like Project Dark (Dark Souls) and Project Beast (Bloodborne) will transform into something new.
According to new details posted by ResetEra user Omnipotent (he's proven to be worthy of the "High Level of Insight" title in the past), Shadow Die Twice is not a sequel to Bloodborne or the Dark Souls series. In fact, "it's not going to be Demon's Souls adjacent and that’s about it in terms of gameplay. You're probably not going to see another set of games that can be as tightly knit together as Demons>Dark>Blood. But it’s still going to be a Fromsoft game, so take that as you will."
He also teased Shadow Die Twice's presence during the upcoming E3 2018, and what's even better, the game won't be an exclusive, meaning that SDT will be available across all major platforms. Omnipotent also confirmed that From Software is not working currently on Bloodborne 2, but Shadow Die Twice is not the only From's project in development and some of them will be announced later this year.
