To celebrate Monday's announcement of Darksiders III release date (November 27, 2018), the IGN crew released a brand new gameplay trailer that focuses entirely on Fury, the sister of War and Death, the main heroes of the first two and critically acclaimed games. But the short Enter the Flame Hollow trailer was just the beginning of the upcoming attractions, as IGN's coverage of Darksiders 3 continues.
The newly released gameplay footage features the brave Fury battling enemies in a spectacular fashion and using her whips for exploration. Sadly, the main IGN channel still hasn't uploaded the video, so to watch it, you have to check out IGN's main website or a IGN España YouTube link, both available down below. IGN recently traveled to Gunfire Games in Austin so expect to see more in the near future.
While the gameplay doesn't look amazing (although the smart use of cel-shading successfully hides some technical shortcomings), it's surely worth watching, especially for players that remember fondly good times when Ubisoft actually cared about the Prince of Persia series, as Darksiders III is extremely similar to not only the last two Darksiders games, but also PoP: The Two Thrones.
